| The above isn't entirely true, I'm only listening to one song, Comedown. I'll warn you now, its not an exciting story, but since its been 10 months since my last update, might be worth reading.
The first time I'd ever heard the song, was just after my high school graduation, yes that long ago. 3 friends and I were on our way to Great America, and I fell in love at first sight. So I did what many people do these days, borrowed it and coppied a few songs I liked onto my computer. Unfortunately, at some point, I accidently deleted it, leaving me without my second favorite Bush song, what's a boy to do.
Then a few years ago, actually the day of Kristen Malak's going away party so August of '01 I think, I bought the cd. Along with Fashion Nugget. Both of which I'd listened to at some point, had most of the good songs, but was hoping for that diamond in the rough. But the story doesn't end there you see. Before I even opened it, I lost it. The condition of my room at the time lead me to a constant belief that it was somewhere. Every few months I'd be inspired to look around, go through drawers, check underneath the dresser, but was never successful. A few weeks ago, I did a full clean on my room, and am now convinced that it is in fact lost.
Well, today in my car, I was going through some mix CDs, and Shangri-La Dee Da, what do I hear, Comedown. No clue how I ended up with it. The title is in my handwriting, "Various Songs", I'm so descriptive, no clue when it was originally made. So as of 11 minutes ago, Comedown was added to my digital muic library again. And I get to go through all my burned CDs looking for songs I never knew I had.
And on a side note, after seeing the design on the cd case, I think I've seen it somewhere around here.
| Happy Labor Day,
We just finished the First Annual Fast/Fact Scavenger Hunt. Thanks around to all the people who participated in and helped referee it, and congratulations to the two teams that won. I enjoyed it, and hopefully all of you did as well.
Hopefully, we're going to do the next one on Memorial Day, so the college people will be in town. If there are any suggestions or anyone wants to help in the next one, talk to Megan or I.
| I just bench-pressed 160 lbs.
I remember in high school, I tried to do 105 or 115, and couldn't do it and that was with all the excercise I got from soccer. So work on fast kids, it makes you big and strong like your uncle Mike.
| I happened upon this and found it post worthy.

I've always found it odd, that we can't cure so many problems, but we can build robots with dual-sponge cannons.
It sure beats a hose for scaring the neighbors cat away, anyone know what 36 million yen comes out to?

| On schedule once again:
He turned around to face me, a large window behind him bathing the room in light. Despite the brightness of the room, his front was still dark. "Umm, this is an employees only area, can I help you with something?" he questioned.
"Yes actually, I'm looking for some specific cat food, here's the label," I handed him the label. He took it, and turned to the side so that he could read it.
"Here, it says prescription there, that means you're going to have to go to a veterinarian or animal hospital to get some. I think there's one down the road." He continued, "Oh, one more thing .." He pointed down at my waist. I looked down to see my fly open.
"Oh, thanks" I said, ending the draft. I guess that explained him staring at me. Then I took the label back from him. I took the nearest exit out and found myself in an alley behind the Petsmart. Though I hadn't found the pet food, I'd found a path to it.
I set off in search an animal hospital which might have the cat food. I pulled into a parking stop. The reflections of trees in lamp poles shoed in the glass door. On the counter I found a bell which made a lovely tone.
Out from the back came a woman. As she came into view, I noticed a bit of a slip. My guess was that she was not used to wearing healed shoes. I explained my dilemna to her, and she replied that she couldn't sell me any without seeing the cat first.
I went back to the office wanting to report the news to my client, Ms. Ramon. When I entered the door to the building, I noticed the lock was broken. Was this broken when I left this morning? I made my way up the stairs walking purposely quiet. I found my door intact, I guess it was my lucky day.
